This morning on a walk to Greer Park, the idea suddenly came up: to write my life account, because I have a plenty of time.
I was born in Taiwan, in a nice little town called Minshiong(民雄) 9.3 kilometers from Chia-Yi(嘉義). Originaly it called Ta–nyao (Hit-Cat – in Taiwanese) which was translated into Japanese as Ta-Mioo) and later translated into mandarin as Mingshioung.
I was born on 31st July l927, so I will be in a full 74 years old by the end of this month. I was born in Taiwan, so I am Taiwanese but at that time Taiwan was a colony of Japan, so officially I was the emperor's subject, and therefore Japanese. Later after the Second World War, Chang Kai Shek fled to Taiwan and claimed Taiwan and I subsequently become Chinese which I loafed very much. Later we immigrated to the United State and I became a U.S Citizen on October 22nd l997.
I am still living and healthy so the title is "Life Account So Far". I don’t know how long I live but sure one day I shall die. So it is kind of fun to record my life account to my sons and whoever interested in my life. I consider I am a very fortunate and a lucky man and I am trying to live my given days happily.
I am trying to write my biography as the following;
I. My life before marriage.
A. Before Primary school

II. After Marriage
